Skin Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery Center is proud to introduce the first-of-its-kind online intra-operative patient photos with commentary. Referring physicians will have the ability to review these photos within 24 hours of the operation. These will include Mohs slide images, Mohs and surgical defects, and reconstructive surgical steps.
These images will be annotated with explanatory commentary. The day after surgery, the Skin Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery Center will send the referring physician an email with the link to this new section of our website. Included will be the username and password necessary to enter this secure area. Physicians will be able to post questions and comments directly on the website. Patient photos can be searched by referring physician name, diagnosis, surgery date, and procedure type.
After the patient’s operation, we will contact the referring physician with viewing instructions. Feel free to post comments and ask questions regarding your patients. This is a secure portal not viewable by patients to be used for educational purposes only.
